Welcome. I’m an Operating Department Practitioner with a rich history of service and storytelling. My career began at 16 when I joined the British Army as a Theatre Technician in the RAMC, a role that taught me discipline, resilience, and the power of shared experiences. After 14 years in the military, including service during the First Gulf War, I transitioned to civilian life, bringing the same dedication to healthcare and creative pursuits.
Married to Michelle, a midwife, and proud father to two children—a paramedic-in-training son and a teenage daughter—I value the solidarity and complexities of family life. I also have three stepchildren who I am equally as proud of—one an NHS Manager, one a Children's Psychotherapist, and one in training to be a paediatric nurse.
